Congratulations to Travel Blog Awards’ Expat Blog winners!
I just found out that a blog I read regularly, Empty Nest Expat, came in 5th place in this year’s Travel Blog Awards organised by tripbase. Congrats Karen!

I was happy to immediately recognise two other blogs already on my blogroll: A Singaporean in London and The Barbados Blog; while they didn’t place a number, my hat’s off to them for having made it to the finals / Top Twenty! Congrats CK and Garry!
The other seventeen blogs have been added to the expat blogroll in a malaysian abroad’s sidebar, and their feeds have been subscribed to via Google Reader. … gotta study them! yeah, you read that right… I have this competitive urge awakening in me, wanting to see if I myself can make it as a finalist next year.
Maybe this’ll be the motivation to get back to more regular expat-related blogging?
