Calling all blogging expats, world citizens, etc!
Have you heard about World Blog Surf Day?
The brainchild of Golden Prague as a result of exchanges between her and Sher (to which many fellow citizens of the world added our two sen worth) about the whole concept of being an expatriate (as opposed to a World Nomad, Guest of another Country, Foreigner, etc), World Blog Surf Day seeks to set readers on a blog journey around the world.
On March 28th, participating blogs will post an article about “Living as a (insert nationality) in (insert country of residence)”… at the end of the post there will be a link to another participating blogger… so you click on that link, read that blogger’s article, click on the link at the end of that article to bring you to yet another participant, read what that one says about life elsewhere, then click to the next, etc etc etc.
I think this will be great fun, and a good way to “meet” more internationally-minded folk, so I’ve already signed up, and urge you to do the same!
Deadline to sign up is March 21st 2009 (that’s this Saturday!!).
World Blog Surf Day will be on March 28th 2009.
